For CPAs, EAs, and Attorneys

Stop hand-modeling reasonable comp. Ship a court-defensible report under your own brand in 90 seconds.

WageDefender licenses its engine to CPAs, enrolled agents, and tax attorneys. Same BLS OEWS wage data and same four-framework stress test as the $297 report a business owner buys direct, produced from $49.95 under your brand, at whatever fee you set.

$99a month to start. $49.95 per report at firm volume.

The Problem

Reasonable comp eats billable hours every Q1.

Time cost

Hand-modeling is expensive

A single reasonable-comp engagement means manual BLS OEWS lookups, role-mapping, percentile selection, and narrative drafting: two to four hours per client, every year, with no reuse.

Brand equity

Branded reports that carry someone else's logo

Off-the-shelf report tools stamp their own mark on the cover page and methodology footnotes. Every delivered report is an advertisement for a third-party platform, not your firm.

Methodology ownership

Methodology questions land on you

When a client asks why a number was chosen (which percentile, which SOC code, which framework), the burden falls on your staff whether or not you generated the analysis.

The Solution

Your firm's report. Our methodology engine. Their court-defensible answer.

Four levers that let your practice deliver premium reasonable-comp engagements without rebuilding the methodology infrastructure from scratch.

Brand

White-label PDFs

Every report carries your firm name, your logo, and your color palette. Your professional credential prints on the cover beside your logo when you choose to show it. The methodology attribution is yours.

Economics

You know your cost per report

One predictable subscription. No seat licenses, no per-user fees, and never a cut of your client fee. Every tier below prints its own cost per report, from $49.95 at firm volume, so you can set your fee with the margin already in front of you.

Your engagement

You bill your client

You set your own fee and bill your client directly under your own engagement. WageDefender is a tool you license; it never sits between you and your client and never shares in your fee.

Data freshness

Refresh-on-data-update

When BLS OEWS data refreshes or a new ECI quarterly is released, client reports can be rerun at marginal cost. Your client's file stays current instead of aging from the day it shipped.

How It Works

Three steps to your first delivered report.

01

Onboard your firm

A 5-minute firm profile. Upload your logo, set your brand colors, and record your credential: a PTIN, a CPA license, or a bar number. Your firm profile is active immediately.

02

Run your first intake

A 90-second intake form covers role, business type, compensation history, and governance factors. The report generates in under two minutes. No spreadsheets.

03

Deliver under your firm's brand

The PDF carries your firm name on every page and your logo on the cover, with your credential beside it when you choose to show it. Your client sees your firm, not a third-party platform. Deliver via email or portal.

Plans and Pricing

Simple, flat pricing for your practice.

One flat subscription. No seat licenses, no per-user fees, and never a cut of your client fee. Every tier prints what a report actually costs you, so you can price the engagement with your margin in front of you. Start on Solo and move up as your volume grows.

FAQ

Common questions from CPAs, EAs, and attorneys.

Do I have to be a CPA?

No. Generating reports takes one verified credential: a PTIN, a CPA license, or a bar number. Enrolled agents and attorneys subscribe on exactly the same terms as CPAs, at the same prices. You record your credential during setup, and report generation stays switched off until it is on file.

What does white-label include?

Your firm logo, brand colors, email-sender identity, and your professional credential. The credential lives in your firm settings, and a single switch there decides whether it prints on the report. Every page of the delivered PDF (cover, methodology section, and footnotes) carries your firm name only. The platform name does not appear in the client-facing output.

How do I bill my client?

You bill your client directly under your own engagement, at whatever fee you set. WageDefender is a flat-rate tool your firm subscribes to. We never take a percentage of your fee and never sit between you and your client; the engagement and the billing are entirely yours.

Can my firm host this on our own domain?

Every report and client-facing surface carries your firm's brand (your name, logo, colors, and your credential when you choose to show it) regardless of the URL it's served from. Branded subdomains and custom-domain hosting are planned; talk to us during onboarding about where this sits on the roadmap for your firm.

What about the data: who owns it?

Your firm owns your client data. The platform processes it only to generate the report and stores it only as long as required to support refreshes. We do not use your client data to train models or share it across firms.

What happens if I want to cancel?

You cancel yourself, from your billing page, with no call and no retention script. Your plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, your unused reports stay available until that date, and nothing renews after it. Plans bill in advance, so if a charge looks wrong to you, email support and a person will read it.

Can we integrate via API?

A programmatic integration for intake submission and PDF retrieval is on our roadmap for higher-volume firms. It is not generally available yet; if API access is important to your workflow, tell us during onboarding so we can scope it with you.
